Main differences with the DF200A:

Our new DF200AP engine is equipped with a revolutionary "hands-free" start system: a coded contactless key transmits an access code to the engine start system. When the contactless key is within one meter of the main unit, simply power on the system, insert the kill cord, and start the engine by pressing a single button. Returning to the dock, just turn off the engine and power down the system.

The DF200AP is the first 200HP (147kW) outboard engine on the market to feature an electronic control system (Suzuki Precision Control) and Suzuki's selective rotation system (Suzuki Selective Rotation), allowing the engine to be configured for normal or counter rotation through a specially designed mechanism located in the lower unit (the gearcase), and an innovative electronic shift system.
