Main differences with the DF200A:
Our new DF200AP engine is equipped with a revolutionary "keyless" start system: a contactless coded key transmits an access code to the engine's start system. When the keyless system is within one meter of the main unit, simply turn on the system, insert the kill cord, and start the engine by pressing a button. When returning to port, just turn off the engine and deactivate the system.
The DF200AP is the first 200HP (147kW) outboard engine on the market to feature Suzuki's electronic control system (Suzuki Precision Control) and Suzuki's Selective Rotation system, which allows configuring the engine for standard or counter-rotation, thanks to a specially designed mechanism located in the lower unit (gearcase), along with an innovative electronic gear-shifting system.
