Main differences with the DF200A:

Our new DF200AP engine is equipped with a revolutionary "hands-free" starting system: a coded keyless key transmits an access code to the engine start system. When the keyless key is within one meter of the main unit, simply power on the system, insert the kill cord, and start the engine by pressing a single button. Back at the dock, just turn off the engine and power down the system.

The DF200AP is the first 200HP (147kW) outboard engine on the market to feature an electronic control system (Suzuki Precision Control) and Suzuki's selective rotation system (Suzuki Selective Rotation), which allows configuring the engine for normal or counter rotation, thanks to a specially designed mechanism located in the lower unit (the gear case) and an innovative electronic shifting system.
