The Suzuki DF5A outboard motor is a single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine with a displacement of no less than 138 cm3.

Its excellent mid-range torque, combined with its light weight, allows for acceleration of exceptional quality. Its CDI system provides high precision ignition, which optimizes its performance. It also features a safety system that prevents over-revving.

The design of the tiller handle allows for the most comfortable operating position possible and better weight distribution. Notable features of this lightweight engine include a gear selector (forward, neutral, reverse), a 180° rotation for excellent maneuverability, and a large carrying handle.
