The Suzuki DF5A outboard motor is a single-cylinder 4-stroke engine with a displacement of less than 138 cm3.

Its excellent mid-range torque, combined with its lightweight design, allows for exceptionally smooth acceleration. Its CDI system provides precise ignition timing, optimizing performance. Additionally, it features a safety system that prevents over-revving.

The design of the tiller allows for the most comfortable operating position and better weight distribution. Notable features of this lightweight engine include a gearshift selector (forward, neutral, reverse), 180° rotation (for excellent maneuverability), and a large carrying handle.
