The Suzuki DF5A outboard motor is a single-cylinder 4-stroke engine with a displacement of no less than 138 cm3.

Its excellent mid-range torque, combined with its light weight, enables exceptionally smooth acceleration. Its CDI system provides precise ignition timing, optimizing efficiency. It also features a safety mechanism to prevent over-revving.

The tiller handle design allows for the most comfortable operating position and better weight distribution. Other key features of this lightweight engine include a gear selector (forward, neutral, reverse), a 180° steering range (for excellent maneuverability), and a large carrying handle.
