The Suzuki DF5A outboard motor is a single-cylinder 4-stroke engine with a displacement of 138 cm3.

Its excellent mid-range torque, combined with its light weight, allows for acceleration of exceptional quality. Its CDI system provides highly precise ignition, optimizing performance. It also includes a safety feature that prevents the risk of over-revving.

The tiller design allows for the most comfortable operating position possible and better weight distribution. Other key features of this lightweight engine include a gear selector (forward, neutral, reverse), a 180° steering range (for excellent maneuverability), and a large carrying handle.
