From this date, the method of taking the motorboat license will undergo some changes, mainly focusing on the theoretical training.
The river license or offshore license is not affected by this new measure.
The option coastal pleasure boating license authorizes you to operate a pleasure boat with a propulsion power greater than 4.5 kilowatts (6 horsepower) up to 6 miles from shelter.
With this license, you can also use the VHF within French territorial waters and practice jet skiing or personal watercraft riding.
