Combining Lean Burn technology, semi-direct air intake and a high-performance compression ratio of 10.2 to 1, this new outboard engine is both economical, powerful, and clean. Compared to its predecessor, the DF175A is 14% more fuel-efficient.

With more torque (2.7% more), combined with the offset drive shaft with 2-stage reduction, this new engine delivers more power across the entire throttle range. Even on heavier or more loaded boats, the DF175A pushes performance a bit further.

The DF175A now shares the same block as the renowned DF200A. Large displacement and precision mechanics offer better acceleration at low and medium speeds. We thus meet our customers' desires for high performance combined with fuel economy.

These new outboard engines benefit from proven technologies from Suzuki's "Ultime" 4-stroke engines, ensuring increasing reliability year after year. An detonation sensor protects the engine's smoothness to improve its lifespan. An oxygen sensor enhances engine efficiency, and the Suzuki water detection system protects the motor from the effects of poor combustion, stalling, and corrosion.
