Resulting from a fruitful collaboration with major players in the yachting industry - the VPLP Design architectural firm and Multiplast, the Sun Fast 30 One Design is a 30-foot sailboat that is innovative, powerful, and versatile, aiming to make offshore sailing more accessible, more fun, and more sustainable.

A one-design built for offshore racing
The Sun Fast 30 One Design aims to open a new chapter in offshore racing by offering a dedicated one-design class for multi-day competition, accessible to amateurs and the new generation. With a reasonable budget, they will have a 100% made-in-France one-design, perfectly equipped for racing and easy to maintain. This One Design class will become a benchmark for offshore sailing, with a wide program of international races that promise to be exciting.

Objective: performance and sensations
Each of the three partners involved has contributed their expertise to produce a boat with exceptional performance. The Sun Fast 30 One Design benefits from the latest advances in infusion construction, which guarantees strength and rigidity for a lightweight vessel. The slightly rounded bow, inspired by “scow” design, offers sensations and power at all speeds. Equipment such as the autopilot and electronics will be adapted for duo offshore racing or even solo.

A recyclable serial sailboat
A sailboat with remarkable performance, the Sun Fast 30 One Design is also environmentally friendly. It is the first mass-produced sailboat made with recyclable composite materials. By incorporating durability criteria for sails into class rules, and carefully selecting and designing equipment for intensive offshore use, the Sun Fast 30 One Design marks a major step towards eco-responsible yachting.
