For sale — Monaco — EUR 79,000 incl. VAT
The First 30 JK is one of the most accomplished performance-cruising sailboats of its generation: signed by Juan Kouyoumdjian, with a double rudder and tiller, it combines lively and demanding seakeeping with a complete layout that allows comfortable family cruising. The offered unit is a well-maintained example, registered in Monaco since 2015, VAT paid and free of LOA and any duty.
A boat ready to sail
With its 9.81 m hull length and a 21 hp Yanmar 3YM20 engine on sail-drive (approximately 700 hours, fuel consumption around 3 l/h), the boat is immediately available for coastal sailing as well as racing. All sheets and halyards are led back to the cockpit via rope clutches, served by four Harken double-speed self-tailing winches. Halyards and sheets Dyneema replaced in 2024.
An exceptional sail wardrobe: two complete sail sets
This is the main asset of this unit. The main sail set Delta Voiles (2018) includes a 35 m² cruising mainsail with reefing tack (square), tri-radial cut in polyester laminate DCX, full batten five battens and three reefs, as well as a 29.51 m² jib on a Vortex furling system with double tri-radial cut, luff battened, hollow-ridge reshaping on the luff and UV anti-band. The original North Sails set (Dacron full batten mainsail and medium jib) remains available as the second set.
In addition: an almost-new asymmetrical spinnaker with sock, a Code D Delta Voiles sail on a Karver stowage/roller in very good condition, and a new storm jib never used — a sail inventory rarely found on a boat of this size.
Comfort and equipment
Two cabins and four berths, saloon with Alpi blond oak finish, galley with sink, cooker and 12 V refrigeration unit, heads with WC, black water tank and three-way valve. Hot and cold water via a 25 l electric water heater and via the engine. 220 V shore power connection, Cristec 40 A charger, two new 2025 service batteries Gel Exide AGM 70 Ah.
Navigation and safety
Raymarine P70 autopilot on the tiller in perfect condition with remote control (new battery), wireless Tacktick instruments and fully functional multifunction repeaters, VHF RO 4800 with AIS and ASN VHF connected to GPS, electric windlass with remote control. 24 h offshore self-righting liferaft, serviced in 2025.
With full transparency, part of the original electronics (tri-data pack, Raymarine E7 chartplotter, i70 repeater) needs to be serviced and/or replaced — this is factored into the pricing.
