History of the Franck Roy Shipyard
The Franck Roy shipyard was founded in 1998 by Franck Roy, a passionate of boats and vintage cars. Initially trained as a shipwright, Franck Roy worked over ten years at Sysba Marine and Latitude 46 before creating his own shipyard. It quickly became renowned for its neo-classical sailboats, blending traditional aesthetics with modern technology. In 2019, the yard was taken over by Romuald Tuffery, a young Vendée-based entrepreneur, who aimed to modernize the processes while preserving the craftsmanship and DNA of the yard. Despite challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, the yard continues to produce high-quality boats appreciated for their design and performance.
Why is this Solenn 23 interesting to buy?
The Solenn 23 is an exceptional sailboat, ideal for cruising enthusiasts thanks to its neo-classical design and modern equipment. Its design by architects Alain Mortain and Yannis Mavrikios, as well as its construction by Roy Franck Construction Navale, make it a reliable choice for coastal or inland waters sailing. Its spacious cockpit and high-quality equipment provide optimal comfort for onboard living.
