Ketch Gallian 13, Carène study shipyard, Herbulot.
This boat underwent a complete refit in 2020 in preparation for a world tour that unfortunately could not be completed by the current owner.
Both engines were replaced with 2 new VOLVO PENTA D2 50 HP engines; the shipyard did an extensive job replacing all the propulsion system, shaft lines, steering system, tanks, rudder bushings, joints, hydraulics, and much more.
The electrical and electronic systems were also completely renewed.

A swim platform was added, bringing the boat length to 14.90 meters.
The hull is epoxy plywood as well as the swim platform, which is fully integrated with the hull, being fastened to the frames and stringers.
It is equipped for ocean cruising with 4 solar panels of 50 watts each and a 400-watt Air brise wind turbine: the system powers 600 amp-hours of service batteries. The boat is electrically autonomous. All lighting consists of LED bulbs.
1 side cabin with a large double berth for 2 people, and a wardrobe, located midship.

2 stacked bunks in the starboard corridor, the upper bunk convertible into a double berth.
1 head (sink, shower, and marine toilet with black water tank) accessible from both the forward cabin and the owner's cabin.
1 offset saloon on port side comfortably seating 8 guests.
1 long galley equipped with a 2-burner stove with oven, two large refrigerators, a sink with drainer, and workspace.
1 large wheelhouse protected by a rigid hardtop extended by a canvas cover on a stainless steel tube frame.
A large table with bench seating under which spacious lockers are located. The whole forms a true living space, both at sea and at anchor, facilitated by easy circulation and nearly level floor (2 steps between the wheelhouse and interior).
1 large aft swim platform and swim ladder facilitating swimming and boarding at anchor.
It is equipped with davits; ketch rig with a mizzen sail on a roller, a mainsail with three reefs and a rigid boom vang, a genoa on a roller furling, a furling stay. The sail inventory includes a reefable jib, a staysail, a storm jib, these sails rigged on, 2 symmetrical spinnakers (one light and one heavy), and an asymmetric spinnaker with its sock.
