Thanks to optimized width and centralized weight on the central hull, it offers a much safer marine behavior than a catamaran, especially in rough seas. On a NEEL trimaran, the critical heel angle is only reached at around 27°, while a catamaran reaches its limit at 12°, making navigation more reassuring and controlled even in challenging conditions.

Its behavior is also gentler: rolling movements are limited, ensuring optimal comfort even during long offshore voyages.

Performance: a multihull built for speed

NEEL trimarans dominate the competition when it comes to real cruising performance. The NEEL 47 regularly sails around 10 knots, allowing over 200 miles in 24 hours — with peaks at 15–18 knots when the wind picks up.

Its rigging structure inspired by offshore racing provides exceptional close-hauled performance thanks to excellent mast rigidity. The trimaran also turns effortlessly, comparable to a monohull, enhancing pleasure and control of the boat.

Simplified maneuvers for a reduced crew

All maneuvers are centralized at the helm station, ensuring comfort and efficiency during navigation and at anchor. Solo sailing is facilitated, with options for classic or carbon performance rigs, three standard sails, and up to three foresails: everything for versatile and smooth use.
