2007 Rinker 246 Captiva Bowrider fitted with the desirable Volvo Penta 5.7L GXi V8 (320hp) engine and supplied with an SPS trailer .

Finished in white with black accents, this boat has had one owner from new and has spent its life in the South of France. During ownership it was only kept in the water during the summer months and was always dry stored over winter. The boat is currently located in dry storage at Les Issambres (83380), France.

Condition

The boat was last used prior to Covid and has remained in storage for several years. It is therefore being offered as spares or repair.

Known mechanical issues include:

• Fuel pump requires replacement
• Sea pump requires replacement
• Fuel tank requires cleaning
• Injector fault
• Engine knock (believed valve related)
• Compression low at approximately 8 bar

The boat has been serviced annually throughout ownership by AJC Boat (supplying agent) and more recently by CTM, both based in Les Issambres.

A May 2026 repair estimate from CTM is available and will be supplied with the sale. The quoted repair cost was close to €30,000, leading to the decision to sell the boat as a project rather than undertaking the works ourselves. We believe the required repairs could potentially be completed considerably more economically by the right buyer.
