Following the great success of the Solaris 47, 48, and 50, it was necessary to consider possible improvements. Solaris Yachts and Javier Soto Acebal concluded that increasing and moving aft the beam would allow the new 50’ to be equipped with two rudders. Tacking in a breeze thus becomes child's play.

This new aft volume is also used to create a watertight tender garage, usable longitudinally, which is rare on a boat of this size.

The placement of the helm stations has also been optimized: being recessed and spaced apart, the helmsman has a better field of vision, despite the potential cover of the roof hatch.

It was important to pamper skilled helmsmen on a racer with such a good weight-to-power ratio! Especially since with a Weldox keel and a carbon mast, there is plenty of potential for impressive performance…

The infusion vacuum sandwich construction, the structural composite bulkheads laminated as one piece to the hull and deck, and the ultra-rigorous keel attachment method will once again contribute to the rigidity, durability, and impeccable strength at the best weight, reinforcing Solaris Yachts' unshakeable reputation.

Special attention is paid to interior finishing details, especially in the saloon and owner’s cabin, which is available in two versions. At the rear, we can offer a variant to adapt to various family configurations.
