After the great successes of the Solaris 47, 48, and 50, it was necessary to consider possible improvements. Solaris Yachts and Javier Soto Acebal concluded that the beam needed to be increased and moved aft to equip the new 50’ with two rudders. Steering in the breeze thus becomes child's play.

This new aft volume is also used to create a watertight tender garage, usable longitudinally, which is rare on a boat of this size.

The positioning of the helms has also been optimized: being set back and spread apart, the helmsman has a better field of vision despite the obstruction of a possible roof cover.

It was important to cater to skilled helmsmen on a racer with such a good weight-to-power ratio! Especially since with a Weldox keel and a carbon mast, there’s potential for impressive performance…

The vacuum-infused sandwich construction, the monobloc laminated composite structural bulkheads in the hull and deck, and the ultra-rigorous keel attachment method will once again contribute to the rigidity and flawless strength at the best weight, building on Solaris Yachts' unshakable reputation.

Special attention is paid to the finishing details of the interiors, especially in the saloon and the owner's cabin, which is available in two versions. At the stern, we can offer a variation to adapt to different family layouts.
