The Solaris 64RS is the result of the work of Javier Soto Acebal. It is an extremely innovative yacht in the world of high-performance cruising boats, characterized by a raised square and a 360° view that allows the engine room and engine to be located in the middle of the boat. The sound comfort of the aft cabins is thus significantly improved.
Innovation begins with the interior layout, which includes a forward sail storage compartment that can be used as a crew cabin with a separate bathroom. The forward cabin, very spacious with ample storage, can accommodate a central bed or a side bed. The galley is located near the mast. The large saloon features a starboard descending passage, meaning there is only one corridor leading to the two aft cabins. Each cabin has its own bathroom with a shower. The 3-meter dinghy garage has longitudinal access and does not affect the volume of the aft cabins. The offset starboard descent also allows for a very large cockpit with a big table that can be transformed into a sunbed on the port side and a passage on the starboard side before the cockpit benches. At the rear of the cockpit is the work area with a central winch for hoisting the mainsail and two additional winches on the side.
The hull design is very modern: a wide stern housing the two steering wheels and a slightly raised bow. The keel has a T-shape with two draft options, including a retractable keel that imposes no clutter on the main deck, which is available as an option.
Like all Solaris, the construction of the 64 RS is impeccable: composite bulkheads laminated to the hull and deck to create a monobloc effect, with expert use of infused composite materials.
