The Solaris 64RS is the result of the work of Javier Soto Acebal. It is an extremely innovative yacht in the world of high-performance cruising boats, characterized by an elevated deckhouse and a 360° view that allows the engine room and the engine to be located amidships. The sound insulation of the aft cabins is thus significantly improved.
Innovation begins with the interior layout, which includes a fore storage compartment that can be used as a crew cabin with a separate bathroom. The forward cabin is very spacious with ample storage, and can accommodate a central or side berth. The galley is located near the mast. The large saloon features a starboard descent, meaning there is only one corridor for the two aft cabins. Each cabin has its own bathroom with shower. The 3-meter tender garage has longitudinal access and does not affect the volume of the aft cabins. The offset starboard descent also allows for a very large cockpit with a large table that can be transformed into a sunbathing area on port and a passage on starboard, before the cockpit benches. At the rear of the cockpit is the work area with a central winch for the halyard of the mainsail and two additional winches on the sides.
The hull design is very modern: a broad stern housing the two steering wheels and a slightly raised bow. The keel is T-shaped with two draft options, and a retractable keel, which does not encroach on the cabin space, is available as an option.
Like all Solaris, the construction of the 64 RS is impeccable: laminated composite bulkheads for the hull and deck to create a monobloc effect, with great expertise in infused composite materials.
