The Serre-Ponçon Savines-le-Lac harbor master's office is equipped with an innovative floating dock with adjustable height. It was installed at the end of July thanks to underwater welding divers.
The Smadesep has equipped its new quay with a new 48m long pontoon, featuring a 17m gangway. The unique aspect: access is possible with a maximum tidal range of 6 meters, allowing to reach the maritime offices throughout the season considering the lake's water level fluctuations.

This pontoon has been designed to be quickly adapted to accommodate passenger boats, like the one in Saint-Vincent-les-Forts.
It allows the joint union to progress towards its goal of making the lake and its activities accessible to everyone. In 2021, the pontoon will be equipped with a lift for people with reduced mobility (a manually operated freight elevator from the walkway along the quay).
