Aluvoile Chatam 60

XBOAT ref: 6011.
Designed by Gilbert Caroff, this CHATAM 60, a cruising cutter, is a full aluminium centreboarder (1.10 m / 3.20 m), built as a one-off.

"Solid, with its 16 millimeter aluminium hull, twin diesel engines, 3 heating systems, everything is designed for navigation to distant destinations.
The boat underwent a refit in 2017/18.
Thanks to its fully enclosed and insulated pilothouse (sliding watertight door), the steering position is perfectly protected. With its two rudders and swinging keel, the CHATAM 60 sits flat and allows bay moorings with its shallow draft. This CHATAM 60 is a second-hand boat, fully equipped, and lightly used.

Construction of a closed and insulated pilothouse. Rigid lifelines, arch and cradle for tender. Electronics replacement and electrical overhaul, installation of generator, desalinator, Dikinson stove and Eberspacher heating."

It can be handled easily with 2 crew onboard, even single-handedly.
Halyard and reefing operations are done at the mast foot, safely.
Onboard comfort is exceptional and watchkeeping from the pilothouse is unmatched."
