TRIMARAN TRILOGY 50
Construction MEAT in Strongall Aluminum.
Architect: JP Brouns.
A serious offer would be welcome.
Stella Maris is a Trilogy 50 type trimaran, designed by naval architect Jean-Pierre Brouns and custom-built by the META shipyard with Strongall aluminum. It was delivered in 2008 to its owners, the Lamblin couple, who keep it ashore for interior fittings.
Launched in 2011, it initially went to Port Saint-Louis du Rhône for several years of onshore stay. Re-launched in 2017, during its navigation, it reached Portimão, Portugal, where it was dried ashore in 2018. Its owner, Mr. Lamblin, continued working on the boat's setup until illness prevented him, resulting in the project being halted.
The boat was acquired in August 2025 by its current owner with a clear goal: to restore it to sailing condition, convoy it to La Rochelle, then convert it to hybrid electric propulsion for a long voyage. Its nearly 30 sqm large roof, transmissions adapted for simplified integration of electric motors, and spacious battery compartments made it an ideal candidate for this project.
For a convoy back to France, an extensive overhaul was carried out between 2025 and 2026: complete review of electric systems, engines, transmissions, navigation electronics, and full hull refinishing.
The boat was launched on February 18, 2026, and sea trials were conducted on February 19, 20, and 21, 2026. All mechanical and electronic systems proved functional over a 110-nautical-mile run.
Financial and availability constraints led the current owner to sell the boat before the convoy could be completed.
