This 2016 Dufour 412 benefits from impeccable maintenance and exceptional technical support. Between 2023 and 2025, it has undergone a very extensive preventive maintenance, including a complete engine refit, full replacement of standing rigging, modernization of electronics, and numerous structural renovations.
It is now an extremely healthy, reliable sailboat, ready to sail immediately, with no work required — ideal for a long-distance crossing or a transatlantic voyage.
The boat offers a 3 double cabin configuration with a convertible salon, a spacious and functional bathroom, and a warm interior typical of Dufour. All interior cushions are new and covered, providing impeccable comfort. Ventilation and brightness are assured thanks to numerous hatches, including a recently replaced hatch in the forward cabin.
In terms of navigation, this Dufour 412 is equipped with a complete and recent set of sails: full-batten mainsail 2023, genoa 2023, asymmetric spinnaker 2022, and a furling genoa. In 2024, the standing rigging, boom, shrouds, backstay, forestay, and genoa furler were fully replaced. The running rigging, well maintained, is in excellent condition.
The 55 HP Volvo engine was completely overhauled and dismantled in 2023/2024, ensuring optimal reliability. The foldable three-blade J-Prop propeller was factory serviced in 2024. The boat also features a solar panel-equipped arch, AIS transponder/receiver, new Raymarine I70 instruments (2023), and an electric windlass replaced in 2025. The three service batteries were also changed in 2025, ensuring ideal autonomy for long-distance cruising.
In terms of safety and structure, many major works have been carried out: complete hull sanding and application of a hard matrix in 2024, replacement of rudder bushings, replacement of through-hulls and valves (galley, bathroom, and black water tank) between 2024 and 2025, replacement of aerials (wind vane, anemometer, antenna), replacement of water heater and fridge compressor, etc. The underwater parts are in perfect condition, antifouling was applied in June 2025, and the last full service was completed in November 2025.
This Dufour 412 stands out for its transparent, comprehensive, and rare maintenance history on the market. With its autonomy (200 L fuel, 400 L water), recent sails, new rigging, modern electronics, and renewed mechanics, it is ready for an immediate transatlantic crossing or a major cruise in complete peace of mind.
