This 2016 Dufour 412 benefits from impeccable maintenance and exceptional technical follow-up. It underwent, between 2023 and 2025, a highly significant preventive maintenance, including a complete engine refit, full replacement of the standing rigging, electronics modernization, and numerous structural renovations.
It is now an extremely sound, reliable sailboat ready to sail immediately, with no work needed — ideal for a long cruise project or an Atlantic crossing.
The boat offers a configuration of 3 double cabins with a convertible saloon, a spacious and functional bathroom, as well as a warm interior typical of Dufour. All interior cushions are new with covers, offering impeccable comfort. Ventilation and natural light are ensured thanks to numerous portholes, including the one in the fore cabin recently replaced.
On the navigation side, this Dufour 412 is equipped with a complete and recent set of sails: full batten mainsail 2023, mainsail 2023, asymmetrical spinnaker 2022, and overlapping genoa. In 2024, the standing rigging, boom, stay bars, mule shroud, forestay, and genoa furler were completely replaced. The running rigging, perfectly maintained, is in excellent condition.
The 55 HP Volvo engine was completely overhauled and disassembled in 2023/2024, ensuring optimal reliability. The folding three-blade J-Prop propeller was factory reconditioned in 2024. The boat also features a davit system with solar panels, a Class B AIS transponder/receiver, new Raymarine I70 instruments (2023), and an electric anchor windlass replaced in 2025.
The three service batteries were also replaced in 2025, ensuring ideal autonomy for the long cruise.
In terms of safety and structural work, many major renovations have been carried out: complete sanding of the hull and application of a hard matrix in 2024, replacement of the rudder bushings, changing seacocks and valves (kitchen, bathroom, and black water tank) between 2024 and 2025, replacement of aerials (weathervane, anemometer, antenna), water heater and fridge compressor, etc.
The hull is in perfect condition, the antifouling date is June 2025, and the last full service was completed in November 2025.
This Dufour 412 therefore stands out for its transparent, complete, and rare maintenance history on the market. With its autonomy (200 L fuel, 400 L water), recent sails, new rigging, modern electronics, and refurbished mechanics, it is ready for an immediate transatlantic crossing or a great cruise in complete serenity.
