This Dufour 412 from 2016 benefits from impeccable maintenance and exceptional technical support. Between 2023 and 2025, it underwent a comprehensive preventative maintenance, including a complete engine refit, full replacement of the standing rigging, modernization of the electronics, and numerous structural renovations.
It is now an extremely sound, reliable sailboat, ready to sail immediately, with no work required — ideal for a long voyage project or an Atlantic crossing.
The boat features a 3 double cabin configuration with a convertible salon, a spacious and functional shower room, and a warm interior typical of Dufour. All interior cushions are new with covers, providing outstanding comfort. Ventilation and brightness are ensured by numerous hatches, including the recently replaced fore cabin hatch.
On navigation, this Dufour 412 is equipped with a complete and recent sail set: a full batten mainsail 2023, a genoa 2023, an asymmetrical spinnaker 2022, and a furling jib stay sail. In 2024, the standing rigging, booms, spreader bars, forestay, shrouds, and genoa furler were fully replaced. The well-maintained running rigging is in excellent condition.
The 55 HP Volvo engine was fully overhauled and disassembled in 2023/2024, ensuring optimal reliability. The folding three-blade J-Prop propeller was serviced at the factory in 2024. The boat also features a davit with solar panels, an AIS transponder/receiver, new Raymarine I70 instruments (2023), and an electric windlass replaced in 2025.
The three service batteries were also changed in 2025, ensuring ideal autonomy for long-distance cruising.
In terms of safety and structure, numerous major works have been completed: full hull sanding and application of a hard matrix in 2024, replacement of the rudder bushes, deck fittings, and valves (kitchen, shower room, and black water tank) between 2024 and 2025, replacement of the aerials (weather vane, anemometer, antenna), replacement of the water heater and refrigerator compressor, etc.
The hull is in perfect condition, antifouling was done in June 2025, and the last full service was performed in November 2025.
This Dufour 412 stands out for its transparent, comprehensive maintenance history, which is rare on the market. With its autonomy (200L fuel, 400L water), recent sails, new rigging, modern electronics, and renewed mechanics, it is ready for an immediate Atlantic crossing or a long voyage in total peace of mind.
