This 2016 Dufour 412 benefits from impeccable maintenance and exceptional technical follow-up. Between 2023 and 2025, it underwent very significant preventive maintenance, including a complete engine refit, full replacement of the standing rigging, modernization of electronics, and numerous structural renovations. Today, it is an extremely healthy, reliable sailboat, ready to sail immediately, with no work needed — ideal for a long voyage project or an Atlantic crossing.
The boat features a 3 double cabins configuration with a convertible saloon, a spacious and functional head, and a warm Dufour interior. All interior cushions are new under covers, offering impeccable comfort. Ventilation and brightness are ensured by numerous hatches, including the recently replaced fore cabin hatch.
For navigation, this Dufour 412 is equipped with a complete recent sail set: a 2023 full batten mainsail, 2023 jib, 2022 asymmetric spinnaker, and a furling genoa sail. In 2024, the standing rigging, boom, forestays, backstay, and genoa furler were fully replaced. The well-maintained running rigging is in excellent condition.
The 55 HP Volvo engine was completely overhauled and dismantled in 2023/2024, ensuring optimal reliability. The folding three-blade J-Prop propeller was factory serviced in 2024. The boat also has a davit system with solar panels, a transponder/receiver AIS, new Raymarine I70 instruments (2023), and an electric windlass replaced in 2025. The three service batteries were also replaced in 2025 for ideal offshore autonomy.
In terms of safety and structure, many major works have been performed: complete hull sanding and application of a hard matrix in 2024, replacement of the rudder bushings, change of through-hulls and valves (kitchen, bathroom, and black water tank) between 2024 and 2025, replacement of aerials (weather vane, anemometer, antenna), replacement of the water heater and fridge compressor, etc. The hull surfaces are in perfect condition, antifouling is from June 2025, and the last full service was carried out in November 2025.
This Dufour 412 stands out for its transparent, comprehensive, and rare maintenance history on the market. With its autonomy (200 L fuel, 400 L water), recent sails, new rigging, modern electronics, and renewed mechanics, it is ready for an immediate transatlantic crossing or a great cruise in total peace of mind.
