North Wind 47 from 1987, all taxes included, very well equipped. Extensive complete renovation of the boat in 2008 - invoices available - Boat very well equipped. Electric furling sails. ONGOING WORKS:
Removal of all paint layers, complete sanitation down to the gelcoat, reinforcement of the bulkheads. Replacement of the stuffing box, rudder bearing. Repair of mast lights and mast support.
MAJOR WORKS:
The hull has been completely painted and lacquered with Pinmar paint in navy Blue Polizia color. The superstructures have been painted white.
DECK AND SUPERSTRUCTURE:
The entire teak deck has been replaced with a 25 mm thick teak deck, glued without screws. Renovation and replacement of screws and cleats. Repair and replacement of all Vetus windows. Replacement of all Lewmar panels. Repair of stern windows. Replacement of standing and running rigging. Installation of a stainless steel gennaker boom. Installation of a Bamar mainsail furling system. Installation of a remote-controlled electric Bamar jib furler. Installation of a Proful brand staysail furler.
DECK EQUIPMENT:
Installation of two 2-speed electric winches by Harken model 60 ST + two self-tailing manual winches for gennaker handling by Harken 2-speed ST 40. On the main mast, replacement of two self-tailing manual Harken 2-speed ST 40 winches for halyard handling, self-tailing manual Harken 2-speed ST 20 winches for mainsail sheet. Installation of two telescopic stainless steel davits and a stainless steel crane for the outboard motor. The 1600 W electric windlass (year 2010) has been equipped with a remote control (Lofran Project X3) with 72 m of 10 mm chain and 50 m of 30 mm rope. Bimini with stainless steel stems.
