WILL BE EXHIBITED IN CANNES BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 9 AND 14, 2025!
The Solaris 60 was launched in 2020. This model will shape the way boats are built and designed and will influence sailboat design for the next ten years!
The Solaris 60 was created to be a Mini-Maxi, which means a high-performance yacht with an overall length of 18.31 meters. This allows it to participate in offshore regattas in the Mini-Maxi class, notably for the main event in Porto Cervo.
The main innovation is in the cockpit, where the helm stations are positioned at full width. This allows you to steer the boat without intrusion from the bimini and even to see the forestay.
The depth of the hull sides allows to lower the sheets towards the stern and lift them near the two steps. This solution is generally only used on very large boats over 140 feet. Additionally, the width of the helm stations, even at the moor and during maneuvers, provides the helmsman with an unobstructed view.
At the stern, there are adjustable seats, allowing steering even from a sitting position.
Inside, a classic Solaris layout: a galley slightly concealed by two steps forward and for the first time, two aft cabins with twin or double beds and a large window facing the cockpit interior. The owner’s cabin, forward, is very spacious, with ample storage and the option of a side or central bed.
The crew cabin, also forward, features a separate bathroom.
The garage for the tender (up to 3m) with longitudinal access almost does not encroach on the aft cabins.

New feature: An outboard engine, while maintaining the original values of the brand, namely build quality, excellent marine capabilities, and neoclassical style, this model displays undeniable modernity. "With this boat, we had two objectives," explains Alex Pinet, General Manager of Rhéa Marine. "During its design, the first was to target the children of current Rhéa owners, which involved preserving the brand's DNA, while showing that we are in tune with the times."
This space offers a large storage area or can accommodate, with the Evasion pack, a double mattress placed in the center. No curtain is provided to separate from the main cabin. Likewise, its height under the beams is only 52 centimeters, and its narrow entrance requires some flexibility to access. The interior finish is beautiful, and the choice of materials reflects a good balance between modernity and classicism.
