SERA EXHIBITED IN CANNES BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 9 AND 14, 2025!
The Solaris 60 was launched in 2020. This model will set the standard for boat construction and design and will influence sailboat styling for the next ten years!
The Solaris 60 was born to be a Mini-Maxi, meaning a high-performance sailboat with an overall length of 18.31 meters. This allows it to compete in offshore regattas within the Mini-Maxi class, notably at the main event in Porto Cervo.
The main innovation is in the cockpit, where the steering wheels are positioned at full width. This allows you to steer the boat without the intrusion of the bimini, and even see the forestay of the jib.
The depth of the bulkheads allows for lowering the backstays and raising them near the two steps. This solution is generally used only on very large boats over 140 feet. Additionally, the width of the steering wheels, even at the port side and during maneuvers, allows the helmsman to have a clear view.
At the stern, adjustable seats are available, offering the possibility to helm even while seated.
Inside, a classic Solaris layout: a kitchen slightly hidden by two steps at the front and, for the first time, two aft cabins with twin or double beds and a large portlight facing the cockpit interior. The owner's cabin, forward, is very spacious, with plenty of storage and the option to choose between a side or central bed.
Also noteworthy is the crew cabin at the front, with a separate bathroom.
The garage for the tender with longitudinal access (3M) hardly encroaches on the aft cabins.
