XBOAT ref:6235. Immediately on board, you realize that this Oceanis 36 CC was truly designed for life at sea; the inclined, curved steps descending slowly, and the handrails are within immediate reach. The symmetrical typesalon (table aligned with the boat's axis) is spacious and bright, and the hatches of the large table provide easy access to the forward guest cabin. And for larger individuals, headroom also adds a significant level of comfort. Enter the large aft head on starboard, which allows direct access back into the salon thanks to the ingenious navigator’s seat that slides under the chart table. Access the owner’s aft cabin via the portside passageway: note the dimensions and equipment of the kitchen — stainless steel double sink, pressurized water, stove and oven, refrigerator. Inside the cabin, you’ll appreciate the space freed up by the layout of the large double berth on starboard, allowing comfortable (and standing!) movement in this true bedroom. Designed by the Berret/Racoupeau studio, the Oceanis 36 CC completes the renowned “Central Cockpit” range from Bénéteau, offering remarkable comfort and safety for a sailboat in this category. From the structure to the layout volumes, from the deck plan to the rigging, the Oceanis 36 CC was conceived to offer the best of cruising. The hull benefits from the robust Bénéteau structural counter-mould that evenly distributes the efforts of the rigging, while ensuring perfect rigidity and easy maintenance. On deck, comfort and safety go hand in hand. Of course, the teak-latticed cockpit is especially well protected from the spray, and the famous Bénéteau “cap” or large-area bimini are offered as options. An additional asset for a “Central Cockpit”: the starboard storage trunk. At the hull level, the propeller shaft is protected by a molded fin, as on all Oceanis models. The cast iron keel, securely bolted to the structure, is protected against corrosion by an epoxy treatment. Its moderate draft (draft: 1.53 m) and its bulb/wings guarantee performance and safety. The suspended rudder is held by a composite shaft that extends up to the deck, ensuring exceptional robustness of the entire assembly… The Oceanis 36 CC is fully surrounded by a deck in solid teak, ensuring comfort and safety for all. At the rear, three deck lockers allow for storage of fenders, mooring lines, and of course, the propane bottles for the galley. At the bow, the windlass is standard, and mounted on the deck to facilitate maneuvers. The engine compartment, located beneath the cockpit, is perfectly isolated, providing easy access to all mechanical components. On the maneuvering side, the sail area is generous to ensure excellent performance. In calm weather, the powerful diesel engine (up to 40hp) will allow you to reach your chosen stopover on time.
