On a magnificent hull over 17 meters long, the architect duo Roberto Biscontini and Lorenzo Argento focused on providing maximum comfort, smooth movement and maneuvering under sails, and high-end meticulous finishes.
The Oceanis Yacht 54 paves the way for a new generation of cruisers with an optimized cockpit equipped with navigation aids, known as Easy Sailing. With its design and habitability, this new cruiser, easily handled by a small crew, remains perfectly in the Oceanis DNA, with an added attention to detail and carefully chosen materials that make it a true cruising yacht.
Exterior Design
Featuring a plumb bow but with volume forward and a recessed beam (5 meters), the Oceanis Yacht 54 displays a modern and perfectly balanced hull designed to deliver maximum sailing pleasure. On deck, and especially around the cockpit, special attention has been given to circulation so that nothing hinders crew movement.
The Oceanis Yacht 54 is indeed an evolution of the traditional central cockpit. It retains the advantages in terms of safety and movement, and innovates with flush deck circulation. The ergonomics of the coamings and the proper height of the bulwarks ensure optimal safety and considerable comfort for offshore sailing. From the top of the companionway and its sunbathing areas, access to the aft transom remains intuitive between the two cockpit tables, then the two steering stations each equipped with a comfortable seat.
Access to the sea is made by descending onto the spacious swim platform which allows storage of a 2.40 m long inflatable dinghy under the cockpit. The Oceanis Yacht 54 is available in two draft versions (2.50 m standard, 1.95 m optional) and two types of masts (classic or furling).
Interior Design
Bringing in maximum light while ensuring excellent ventilation, creating an atmosphere both warm and modern, was the creed of architect Lorenzo Argento.
The numerous portholes and deck panels, the layout featuring a proper navigation station and a large saloon table comfortably seating six, make up the interior of the Oceanis Yacht 54 which the future owner can choose in light oak or walnut.
Two versions are offered: three cabins and two bathrooms, or three cabins and three bathrooms with an XXL owner’s cabin forward, allowing circulation around the 1.60 m wide double bed.
