CANADOS 70

I am proud to present my CANADOS 70, an exceptional yacht built in 1985. This boat is a true floating work of art, combining elegance and performance.

Construction and materials

• Epoxy mahogany plywood deck covered with Flexiteek in 2021
• Epoxy marine plywood hull
• Interior fittings in sycamore

Equipment and fittings

My CANADOS 70 is fully equipped for life on board, whether at dock or at sea. Here are some of its equipment and fittings:

• Four double cabins (including 2 with double beds)
• Four bathrooms with VMC
• 2 Sanibroyeur WC
• Entertainment systems: TV, DVD, CD/audio player in each cabin and in the salon
• Equipped kitchen: VALBERG refrigerator and freezer, vitroceramic cooktop, VALBERG extractor hood, VALBERG electric oven, CANDY dishwasher, SAUTER water heater
• Freshwater: 2000L with dock connection
• 220V dock connection in the cockpit
• Exterior lounge: lounge table with eight chairs in the cockpit, flybridge equipped with outdoor lounge, two benches opposite each other, 2 sunbeds, two coffee tables and a single bench
• PVC Bimini on aluminum arches
• Floor covered with PVC Flexiteek in 2021
• Re built aft platform in 2021 with bathing ladder, electric davits, hydraulic passerelle

Engines and performance

The CANADOS 70 is equipped with MAN D2860LE405 engines with a single power of 580 HP. These engines, although originally installed, have been well maintained. The port engine has 3687 hours, while the starboard engine has 5330 hours. The tri-blade propellers ensure smooth and stable navigation.

General condition and maintenance

According to the inspection carried out in fall 2021, the boat is in a good overall condition. The living areas, the deck, the hull, and the electrical systems were renovated in 2021. The fittings have been modified from the original, but the carpentry is original and varnishes have been renewed. The upholstery, wall coverings, plumbing, and electrical systems of the interior arrangements are new.

The boat’s electrical system is in 24 V DC and 220 V AC, with an electrical panel at the helm protected by fuses for 24V and 220V circuits. The boat is equipped with 2 engine batteries 12V 180Ah in series circuit 24V and 4 service batteries 12V 180Ah in series circuit 24V.
