CANADOS 70

I am proud to present my CANADOS 70, an exceptional yacht built in 1985. This boat is a true floating work of art, combining elegance and performance.

Construction and Materials

Equipment and Layout

My CANADOS 70 is fully equipped for life on board, whether at mooring or at sea. Here are some of its equipment and arrangements:

• Four double cabins (including 2 with double beds)


• Four bathrooms with ventilation system


• 2 electric toilets with macerator


• Entertainment systems: TV, DVD, CD/audio player in each cabin and the salon


• Equipped kitchen: VALBERG refrigerator and freezer, vitroceramic hob, VALBERG extraction hood, VALBERG electric oven, CANDY dishwasher, SAUTER water heater


• Fresh water: 2000L with shore water connection


• 220V shore power outlet in the cockpit


• Outside lounge: salon table with eight chairs in the cockpit, flybridge equipped with outdoor lounge, two facing benches, 2 sun loungers, two low tables and a single bench


• PVC bimini on aluminum frames


• Floor covered with Flexiteek PVC in 2021


• Rear platform renovated in 2021 with swimming ladder, electric davits, hydraulic gangway

Engines and Performance

The CANADOS 70 is equipped with MAN D2860LE405 engines with an individual power of 580 HP. These engines, although original, have been carefully maintained. The port engine totals 3687 hours, while the starboard engine has 5330 hours. The three-blade propellers ensure smooth and stable navigation.

General Condition and Maintenance

According to the survey carried out in autumn 2021, the boat is in good overall condition. The living areas, deck, hull and electrical systems were renovated in 2021. The interior layout has been modified from the original, but the woodwork is original and the varnishes have been renewed. Upholstery, linings, plumbing and electrical systems of the interior fittings are new.

The onboard electrical installation is 24V DC and 220V AC, with an electrical cabinet at the entrance of the wheelhouse protected by fuses for 24V and 220V circuits. The boat is equipped with 2 engine batteries 12V 180Ah in series for the 24V circuit and 4 service batteries 12V 180Ah in series for the 24V circuit.
