Originating from a handcrafted amateur build carefully done in Marseille in 1985, Khaya is a cruising-race sailboat with a molded epoxy wooden hull that demonstrates a solid construction and ensures good seaworthiness. Equipped with a deep, narrow keel combined with a separate rudder, it offers precise and enjoyable steering. Its low, sleek lines give it an elegant silhouette, reflecting the charm of its era.
Inside, the space remains simple but warm, with visible woodwork reminiscent of traditional sailboats. The cockpit, intimate, allows the helmsman to be close to the sensations and the marine environment.
Its name, Khaya, meaning "mahogany," reflects the spirit of the boat: a characterful sailing yacht with a rich history, intended for enthusiasts who want to own an authentic vessel and continue its evolution with new navigation projects.
