General condition:
This unit is in superb condition for its 24 years! The exterior woodwork is beautiful, the teak is in good condition with its original patina. The openings are in good condition, the equipment is up to date. This third-hand unit has always been well maintained by its owners.
Exterior:
No signs of teak detachment were found on the entire deck of the boat. Same for the flybridge. The varnishes on the handrails have been recently redone and are in very good condition. The hull and superstructures show no defects. All flybridge covers and biminis were redone in 2022 and are in almost new condition. The stainless steel framework is also new. 1200w solar panels have been installed on a stainless steel structure. The workmanship is very neat.
Interior:
The spaces are superb here, typical of Grand Banks, everything is designed for comfort. The condition is superb. All woodwork is in very good condition. Some very slight varnish detachment points are observed in some window frames, mainly on the forward windshield. Only one infiltration point was found on the port windshield, which has now been treated and is dry. Otherwise all linings are in superb condition. All comfort equipment is fully operational.
Mechanical:
The port engine has precisely 1916h while the starboard engine can be considered as having 238h since a major overhaul. Indeed, in January 2022, the crankcase block as well as many peripherals were replaced with new parts (invoice and intervention report available) following a mechanical error during maintenance. The bilge and bilge bottoms are visually very good, no alarming corrosion points or leakage traces seen. The bilge bottoms are very clean.
Electronics and electricity:
On this point, the boat is up to date and well equipped. The electronics are recent with all necessary equipment (GPS, chartplotter, echo sounder, log, compass, VHF and AIS). Additionally, the boat is equipped with a WIFI amplifier with satellite antenna.
The generator and solar panels allow total electrical autonomy. 2 engine batteries and 2 service batteries from 2023. 24v bow and stern thrusters each with two independent batteries. The battery bank dedicated to the stern thruster is powered by the panels with its independent charge regulator. A 3000W inverter also powers a 220v fridge when the boat is not docked.
