Jeanneau Albatros

MELODY, is a solid "offshore cruising" sailboat designed by Andre Mauric.

This model has enjoyed great success due to its seaworthy qualities, thanks to a deep hull, heavy displacement, and generous sail area.

A very well-equipped sailboat maintained by its owners.

Inboard YANMAR -2QM20H engine, 19 HP diesel (hours unknown).

Last service 08/2022 (oil change, filters, sea water pump).

The engine was fully reconditioned in 2019.

Since the engine reconditioning, it is estimated by the owner to have 700 hours.

Stainless steel propeller shaft replaced, crankshaft, PSS rotating seal.

Layout:

2 cabins (forward/ aft), spacious and comfortable saloon for a total of 6 berths.

The saloon cushions were replaced in 2018 + protective covers in 2020.

The cushions in the forward/aft cabins and covers were redone in 2020.

The cabin lining was renewed in 2018 with cork sheet.

Kitchen:

1 microwave, 1 two-burner gas stove + DOMETIC oven (12/2019)

1 DOMETIC 80L refrigerator/freezer, double-basin sink, seawater foot pump (2022) + freshwater foot pump (2022), multiple outlets.

Water tanks: 150L + 100L + 50L, totaling 300L.

Bathroom:

Manual WC (hose replaced 08/2022), 50L black water tank with macerator for sea discharge, tank level indicator, 2 valves to select between tank or sea discharge, installed in 2022.

Through hull fittings, valves, hoses, and clamps replaced in 2017.

Sails & Rigging :

1 recent Genoa (01/2021) + 1 good condition Genoa, trimmed and checked in 12/2020.

1 full batten mast-top Genoa with 3 reef points, with rolling luff cars (2017), checked in 12/2020.

Furling genoa, furled spinnaker, new whisker pole, new storm jib.

Furling foresail, spinnaker pole, and storm jib are all new.

Docklines, winches, halyards, sheets, etc.

Electrical :

300W solar panel with VICTRON MPPT 30A regulator (2018), 300W pure sine inverter for 220V (2018), VICTRON 3x20A shore charger (2018).

Navigation lights wiring replaced, LED bulbs installed, interior lighting LED (2018).

1 engine battery 90AH (2022) + 1 service battery 90A, differential breaker + 4 16A outlets (2018), VICTRON MPPT charge controller, VICTRON BLUE SMART battery charger.

1 12V/220V converter – 300W.

Miscellaneous:

Inox gangway, inox swim ladder mounted on the aft platform (08/2023).

Anchor locker with 2 FOB anchors (16kg) + 50m chain, 10 new (08/2023), + 20m rode, mooring ball, electric windlass 1200W (serviced in 2017), remote control in cockpit.

2 camping gas bottles.

Long-range survival raft (12/2020, to be serviced).

Inflatable dinghy with anchor (+ floating anchor) + TEMO electric motor (08/2023).

NAVICOM VHF, SIMRAD TP 32 autopilot (03/2021), auto pilot ST 4000, compass/wind speed indicator (04/2022), clock/barometer...

Stainless steel arch with integrated davits and lifting crane for dinghy (2018).

Cockpit shower with 50L water capacity and connection to an interior tank via 2 separate pumps (2018).
