MELODY is a solid "racing-cruising" sailboat designed by André Mauric.
This model has enjoyed great success due to its marine qualities thanks to a deep hull, heavy displacement, and generous sail area.

Inboard engine YANMAR -2QM20H, 19 HP diesel (hours unknown).
Last service 08/2022 (oil change, filters, sea water pump).
The engine underwent a complete overhaul in 2019.
Since the engine rebuild, the owner reports 700 hours.
Replaced stainless steel propeller shaft, strut, PSS shaft seal.
Layout:
2 cabins (forward/aft), spacious and comfortable saloon with a total of 6 berths.
The saloon seat cushions were replaced in 2018 + protective covers in 2020.
Foam cushions of the forward/aft cabins and covers redone in 2020.
The cabin linings were redone in 2018 using cork sheets.
Galley:
1 microwave, 1 two-burner gas stove + DOMETIC oven (12/2019)
1 DOMETIC 80l refrigerator/freezer, double sink, seawater foot pump (2022) + freshwater foot pump (2022), multiple sockets.
Water tanks: 150l + 100l + 50l totaling 300l.
Heads:
Manual toilet (hoses replaced 08/2022), 50l black water tank with macerator for sea discharge, tank level indicator, 2 valves allowing selection between the tank or sea, installed in 2022.
Through-hulls/valves, hoses, and clamps replaced in 2017.
Sails & Rigging:
1 recent genoa (01/2021) + 1 well-maintained genoa trimmed and checked in 12/2020.
1 full batten mainsail with 3 reefing points, with ball-bearing batten cars (2017), free foot checked in 12/2020.
Furling stay, spinnaker pole, brand new storm jib.
Mooring cover, navigation cover with frame, lazy bag, dodger, halyards, sheets.
Electrical:
300W solar panel with VICTRON energy 30A MPPT regulator (2018), 300W pure sine wave inverter for 220V (2018), VICTRON energy shore charger 3x20A (2018).
Navigation light wiring replaced and bulbs upgraded to LED, interior LED lighting (2018).
1 engine battery 90AH (2022) + 1 service battery 90A, differential circuit breaker + 4 sockets 16A (2018), VICTRON MPPT charge controller, VICTRON BLUE SMART battery charger.
1 12V/220V – 300W converter.
Miscellaneous:
Gangway, stainless steel swim ladder fixed on the aft deck (08/2023).
Anchor locker with 2 FOB anchors 16KGS + 50m of new 10mm chain (08/2023) + 20m of rope + mooring buoy + 1200W electric windlass (serviced in 2017) + remote control in the cockpit.
2 camping gas cylinders.
Offshore life raft for 4 persons (12/2020, needs inspection).
Bombard dinghy (+ floating anchor) + 1 TEMO electric motor (08/2023).
