Designed by the duo Andrieu and Verdier, and fully constructed using infusion, the Sun Fast 3300 offers exceptional strength and stiffness, with significantly reduced weight. As a result, it not only delivers excellent absolute performance, but also benefits from an advantage under IRC handicap rules, notably thanks to its simple keel without bulb and its reasonable sail area.
On this racing sailboat, ergonomics serve efficiency: spacious cockpit to facilitate movement, control systems brought to the helm station for solo crossings. 5% faster than the 3200 version, the Sun Fast 3300 remains stable and balanced on technical courses. Its hull was specially designed to enhance performance on downwind legs.
This 2020 model rated 0.30 won the 2022 UNCL Atlantic Channel championship with a crew and had to withdraw from the Transquadra due to the health of its Skipper/Owner. Its specific inventory guarantees superior performance compared to other SUN FAST 3300s in its category (special hull preparation before launching, ILX mainsail lighter than carbon sail, 3 x symmetrical spinnakers for better downwind speed, 60 m2 Code 5 on furler, KARVER 3-speed winches, GARMIN large screen GPS Chartplotter GpsMap 8416 on articulating arm, integrated Wifi and Nmea 183/2000, with solar panel for constant charging...).
