XBOAT ref :5438. Its owner tells us:
Designed by the duo Andrieu and Verdier, and built entirely with infusion, the Sun Fast 3300 benefits from exceptional strength and rigidity, with a significantly reduced weight. As a result, it offers not only excellent absolute performances but also advantages regarding IRC handicap rules, thanks notably to its simple keel without bulb and its reasonable sail area.
On this racing sailboat, ergonomics serve efficiency: spacious cockpit to facilitate movement, control systems towards the steering station for solo crossings. 5% faster than the 3200 version, the Sun Fast 3300 remains stable and balanced on technical courses. Its hull has been specially designed to enhance performance on reaching points.
This 2020 model, rated 0.30, won the UNCL 2022 Atlantic Channel championship in crew and had to withdraw from the Transquadra due to the health of its Skipper/Owner. Its specific inventory guarantees superior performance compared to other SUN FAST 3300 in its category (special hull preparation before launching, ILX main sail lighter than carbon sail, 3 symmetrical spinnakers for better speed on reaching, code 5 of 60 m2 on furler, KARVER 3-speed winches, Garmin GPS Traceur with large screen GpsMap 8416 on articulated arm, integrated WiFi and Nmea 183/2000, with solar panel for constant charging...).
Offshore equipment, Carbon mast AG, shroud tension sensor, 2 x Genoa including 1 in ILEX, J1, J2, J3, ORC, lightweight spinnaker, medium spinnaker, heavy spinnaker, storm jib, autopilot, Garmin navigation center, RT 1050 VHF, Garmin AIS 800 Class B/SOTDMA standalone Transceiver, FUSION marine audio pack, ST Power 130 Amp charger regulator, dock socket with compact charger HF YPower 110/230 VAc/12 VDc 25 A capacity, Cristec 35 battery manager, Black-Contact 55W solar panel.
