Meridian 441 flybridge
length of 14.4 m - beam of 5.20 m - draft of 90 cm - semi-planing hull. 6 berths (2 double beds + convertible sofa). It is under French flag and from 2008.
2 cabins with 2 bathrooms. The aft cabin has its own bathroom with a real shower cabin.
The second cabin has direct access to the second bathroom from inside. This bathroom is also accessible from the staircase. It features a boat shower, a showerhead, and floor drainage.
The main accommodation includes a lounge with a convertible sofa, a dining area with a table and 2 benches for 4 people, and a kitchen.
Under the lounge, access via a ladder leads to the interior hold, where a freezer and washing machine were planned to be installed — space is available (but must be checked with Seb regarding installations and connections).
The flybridge is solid, with covers replaced in 2022, and includes a sink, a table, and benches for 8 people. It is the helm station. The onboard electronics are recent: 2 engine screens, a 12-inch Garmin touchscreen GPS, a modern hydraulic autopilot, VHF and radio station.
The engines are two Cummins QSB 6.7 (960 HP total, less than 50 hours, still under warranty — new and installed in 12/2023), with treated propeller shafts and revised reverse gears. Max speed: 26 knots, comfortable cruising at 12-14 knots + a powerful bow thruster with joystick to ease maneuvers in port.
Technical equipment is up-to-date: the 4 flap pistons were replaced a year and a half ago; all through-hulls are made of bronze, and the underwater lights are recent. No maintenance needed below the waterline.
At anchor, autonomy is excellent: Victron lithium batteries (12V), supplemented by discreet 1000 W solar panels, generator, and engine alternators. This allows very low generator use.
The anchor windlass and chain are new (90m, 1200W, stainless steel anchor).
At the aft deck, there is a hydraulic platform that lowers into the water, making boarding the dinghy much easier. (and also allows sunbathing in the water, but less marketable…)
The boat is also equipped with a 120 L/h desalinator, a 11 KVA 230V generator (revised), a Liebherr professional ventilated refrigerated unit, a microwave oven with grill, and electric cooking plates.
Electricity operates on 12V and 230V.
Fuel tank of 1800 L and fresh water tank of 500 L + a 120 L/h desalinator.
