The Amira is a 1933 Motor Yacht designed by architect O.M. Watts. It is classified as BIP (building of heritage interest). Its sturdy structure consists of 3 levels of frames and 40 planks. This boat, with a rich history, is said to have participated in the DYNAMO operation in Dunkirk in 1940 for the re-embarkation of British troops. It has undergone several refits since its construction, and much of its history is available upon request. Since 2018, the hull has been completely stripped over 2/3 of its length, the engine and water tanks have been removed. Some floors and frames have been replaced, and the floors have been steam-bent and riveted with copper rivets. The Amira sails every year with its owners on cruises combining the comfort and charm of classic boats. It has a berth. Visits possible every day by appointment.
