The Predator 55 is a new addition to Sunseeker’s iconic Predator range. Powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS-950 engines, this 55-foot model can reach speeds of up to 35 knots. The Sunseeker Predator 55 features a glass and carbon fibre sunroof that sets this model apart from the rest of the Predator range. Operated from the helm console, the 2.5 x 3 m electrically controlled sunroof slides backwards to leave nothing above but the sky. Its large glazed area and single-piece curved windscreen give the Predator 55 a sleek and distinctive profile, as well as an interior bathed in natural light.
The aft cockpit seating layout generously accommodates six people and includes an electric sunshade for added comfort. The large sunbed located above the garage features padded headrests and a rearward view that guests will never tire of. This yacht perfectly combines style and function for everyone’s enjoyment. The angles of the aft coamings are part of the new sleek transom design and are seamlessly integrated into the hull with vertical stainless steel engine air intakes positioned outboard. With the addition of discreet LED deck lighting and a new fixed transverse beam running from port to starboard, even when the sunbed platform is lowered, the stern profile presents exquisite proportions without compromising functionality.
The single-level main deck features a spacious saloon and an L-shaped galley. The galley units align with the linear cockpit wet bar so that when the portside terrace door is open, nothing obstructs movement between inside and outside. Glass panels provide uninterrupted views of the horizon for everyone on board. Two upholstered seats complete Sunseeker’s new-generation helm station for added excitement. The lower deck, following a standard layout, optimizes the available space with two cabins, a sunken saloon to starboard, and an optional storage room or utility space.
The luxurious full-beam owner’s cabin creates a generously sized private suite. The corridor entrance leads to a starboard walk-in wardrobe and a large en-suite cabin to port. The king-size bed is positioned centrally and complemented by a sofa, a chest of drawers, and a second wardrobe, while a vanity unit and television are centrally located. The equally spacious forward cabin features a private bathroom and ample storage space. The interior volume has been maximized for extended cruising. Thus, both cabins benefit from increased headroom for a greater sense of space. The interior layout is flexible to suit the owner’s requirements. The main deck galley can be relocated to the lower deck and replaced by a sofa and a TV that can be raised or lowered. With this option, the lower galley replaces the lower saloon and the storage room or utility space. This area can also be converted into a twin cabin with an en-suite bathroom, allowing comfortable accommodation for up to six guests.
