Chandlery indication for this model: the silhouette of the Windy SR 44 BlackHawk is the result of a collaboration between the Dubois studio and the manufacturer. While the interior design was entrusted to the skilled team at the British studio Design Unlimited.
This powerhouse team tasked with challenging competing brands Fjord, Pardo, and Mazu Yachts on their turf paid special attention to the deck plan. Extended by a large hydraulic swim platform, the cockpit offers several configuration options. Large cockpit with a central rear bench leaving free passage on both sides of the boat, and an enormous U-shaped flybridge lounge. A sun pad is located at the rear, above the engine room.
Seaworthiness is appreciable. Cutting through waves with authority while demonstrating a certain flexibility at the helm, the boat navigates on a hull perfectly suited for Mediterranean conditions. Powered by the new D6 440 HP engines—each producing 440 hp—the boat exceeds 38 knots. It is worth noting that the manufacturer reports a top speed of 42 knots in calm seas and optimal conditions.
Comfortable, smooth, and functional
The straightforward layout is another strong point of the boat, with a highly segmented aspect that prioritizes circulation. In the center, the streamlined T-top, which includes two translucent panels and can be extended with an electric bimini, houses an outdoor kitchen protected under a cover, in addition to the helm station. Equipped as standard with Glass Cockpit technology, it features very well-finished contours, with a special mention for the steering wheel.
