For an affordable budget, the Brin de Folie stands out for its seaworthiness and livability, notably with a large number of storage options. Its sail plan is particularly complete: the addition of a gennaker and a full batten mainsail has significantly improved its performance, both in light air and in a breeze. It rests perfectly on stands.
The current owners, the third since the boat was commissioned, have kept it for 24 years. Until 2021, the boat was stored on land in a shipyard year-round and was only launched for the summer period, in July and August, for coastal sailing with family of 4 between Charentes and Brittany.
The last mechanical revision was carried out in the summer of 2024, including the replacement of the exhaust pipe and a complete cleaning of the heat exchanger. The last antifouling was done in July 2024.
